Bartholomew J. Porciello

Mr. Bartholomew J. Porciello, Sr., age 74, formerly of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Griffi n Hospital in Derby.

Mr. Porciello was born on May 14, 1944, in Bridgeport, son of the late Joseph Porciello and Amelia ( Dizenzo) ( Porciello) Miller. He was a graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport, Class of 1963 and attended the University of Bridgeport. He began his career working 17 years at Pathmark Supermarket and later became the Warehouse Manager for DiLeo Brothers for over 15 years until his retirement. Bart enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan, especially the New York Yankees and the New York Rangers.

Bart is survived by his daughter, Debra Bojnec and her husband Richard; his granddaughter Sarah Bojnec all of Trumbull; his brother William Porciello and his wife Pat of Plymouth as well as several nieces and nephews. Bart was predeceased by his son, Bartholomew J. Porciello, Jr. and his brothers, James and Joseph Porciello.
