Westport Realtor inspired by helping families find their new home
Georgia Rojas worked her way up the real estate ladder, learning all aspects of the business. She began her career as an administrative assistant in a small boutique office in Westport. From there, she went on to work with some of the top agents and teams in Fairfield County before venturing out on her own.
With a total of 26 years in the industry, she has developed a customer service philosophy based on communication, respect and being of value to buyers and sellers.
“Everyone’s reasons for buying and selling are different. Every transaction is different. As an agent, I have to listen and always keep the best interests of my client first and foremost,” Rojas states. She explains that listening and knowing what questions to ask are the most important skills an agent can have.
“Everyone has a ‘ why’ when they are buying or selling and your agent needs to understand your motivation to properly position your home for sale or find the best home to buy. With buyers, I have to hear what my buyers say and what they don’t say. The ‘ perfect’ home for one person may be completely wrong for someone else.”
Rojas is inspired by helping families find the place they want to call home.
“Everyone should love where they live. Our homes should be the place we want to be at the end of a long day, the place we celebrate the joys in life and the place we always feel content and at ease.”
A native of Westport, Rojas has worked and lived in the surrounding areas of Norwalk, Fairfield, Stamford, Darien, Greenwich, and Trumbull.
With a background in interior design and staging, she puts those skills to work with new listings as well as helping buyers see the potential in properties that might need some work.
“People are so used to living in their homes that it’s hard to see them objectively sometimes. Even the smallest changes can make a huge difference for a buyer seeing a property for the first time.”
