Realtor is fierce negotiator
As a sales and marketing executive in the fashion industry, and later photographer, Anika Charron took those skills and transferred them to her real estate career. While consulting with Realtor clients on photography, marketing and social media, she had the opportunity to learn the best practices of real estate in Fairfield County, before deciding to become a Realtor herself.
“I worked with the most prominent department stores in Europe, negotiating trade deals, establishing margins, and setting sales prices; these highly transferrable skills have given me a great depth in real estate,” Charron explained.
Charron leverages her corporate background, personal relocation experience and international connections as an asset. Born and raised in Germany and having moved with her family across multiple continents and states, she understands both the financial and emotional aspects of real estate and brings empathy and compassion to the transaction.
“Buying or selling a home is not only a big financial investment but it is highly personal and emotional. I see my job more as an advocate than a sales person, my first priority is always open honest communication” she states. “I truly care about my clients. I know all emotions that come along with selling or buying a home. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my buyers excited about their new home and my sellers pleased with their transaction.”
Charron has personal connections all over the U. S. and Europe in addition to the network the Higgins Group has by being a Christies International Affiliate. “Real estate today is not a small, local business anymore. With the internet, the buyer for your home may come from anywhere.”
Clients also benefit from Charron being a fierce negotiator, capable in fast- paced environments and excellent communication and reporting.
“I provide pertinent and timely information on key factors that will impact whether a transaction succeeds. I provide detailed weekly reports to keep my clients informed about the development in the markets and offer perspective for them to make the best decisions. I’m very active on social media and photography certainly helps put a house’s best features forward.”
