Bruce Gordon Fales

Bruce Gordon Fales, age 77, of Fairfield and formerly of New Canaan, beloved husband of Sandra Sansone Fales, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2018.

In addition to Sandy, his devoted wife of 56 years, Bruce will be remembered by his children, Susan Tweedy and her husband Bill, of Fairfield, Cindy Coward and her husband Bill, of Easton, John Fales and his wife Susan, of Darien; his cherished grandchildren, Jack Coward, Wesley Fales, Johnny Fales, Catherine Tweedy, and Meredith Tweedy; his siblings, Peter Wyer, of NYC, June Nugent and her husband Steven, of England, Torrey Wall and her husband Eric, of CA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John Fales and Sonia Ford Schoen.

Born in San Diego, CA, Bruce was raised in Darien, and resided in New Canaan for many years before moving to Fairfield. After attending Brookside School in Great Barrington, MA, he served in the United States Navy for several years. Bruce later established and operated Fales Trucking company until his retirement.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 30th, from

5- 7 p. m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, with a prayer service officiated by the Reverend Kevin Olds at 6: 30 p. m.
