Anna Kryzanski

Anne Kryzanski of Highland Beach, FL, formerly of Stratford, CT, passed away on October 25, 2018. She was 97 years old.

Born in Hanover, PA, she met her husband Henry Kryzanski there as a teenager. The two were married for 54 years until his passing in 1994. They had three children, Henry Kryzanski Jr., Marcia McClanan, and Karen Stone ( James), nine grandchildren, Daniel Kryzanski ( Beverly), Keith McClanan, Michael Kryzanski ( Halina), Mark McClanan, Dr. James Kryzanski ( Katherine), Adam Stone, Thomas Kryzanski ( Sharon), Jaime Fitts ( Scott), and Megan Stone, and twenty- two great- grandchildren. Henry started Connecticut Oxygen in Bridgeport, CT in 1949 and Anne joined him in the office in 1955 where they ran the business until retiring in 1982.

Even at 97, she’d be ready at the drop of a hat to go out to eat, go shopping, or take a trip somewhere. She had such amazing energy. She traveled the world over, was a voracious reader, and loved music. But most of all she loved her family and made sure that everyone knew it. Her warmth and generosity were felt by all with whom she came in contact. Her house was always open and had a constant, vast array of visitors, to whom she offered whatever they wanted. At her request, burial services were private.

To honor her memory, contributions may be made to the Henry Kryzanski Jr. scholarship fund at Bunnell High School, Stratford, CT.
