Mortgage broker turned Realtor can help clients understand financing

- Jeff Romatzick

Shortly after becoming a mortgage loan officer, Jeff Romatzick got his real estate license in 2001 to see what that side of the business was like. His curiosity eventually led to a career change.

“I found I loved that side of the business more than the financing side,” Romatzick says. “I was still involved on the mortgage side of the business for about 7 years. Having an understanding how financing works obviously helps with clients and assisting them in what they can expect during that part of the process.”

Romatzick considers himself to be professional and patient with clients. He recognizes that every purchase or sale is unique and likely one of the most important decisions to that person at that time in their life.

He leads the Romatzick team, which specializes in Upper Fairfield and Lower New Haven County area properties.

“Our team is from the area, lives in the area and are familiar with the areas we cover. Being in the industry for quite some time, I have familiarized myself in the markets I serve with what the towns have to offer, the many different market areas within each town and what the market activity is at any given time.”

With the industry constantly changing, Romatzick is always searching out training on new technology to help market a client’s property.

To make his team’s listings stand out, Romatzick goes beyond the multiple listing service and traditional marketing. The team utilizes professional photography, has a heavy on- line presence and targeted Company: Romatzick Team, William Raveis Real Estate

For Romatzick, the greatest reward of being a Realtor comes from being a part of the joy and sense of accomplishment that a buyer has when they close on their first home.

“It is a feeling they only get once in starting that next chapter, and I feel fortunate they have put their trust in me to be a part of that and make that possible.”
