Jocelyn R. DeJesus

Jocelyn R. DeJesus, age 37, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Christopher J. Weiner. Born in Bridgeport on April 2, 1981 she was a daughter of William DeJesus of Bridgeport and the late Jasmine Colon DeJesus. Jocelyn received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Bridgeport and worked as a supervisor for Optimus Healthcare for several years. She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice and her creativity for being a “crafty mom” was evident in the projects she would create with her children. She loved fitness and was very health conscious and lived life by her motto of “Fit Happens”. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt who will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her beloved husband, Jocelyn, other survivors include her cherished children, Christopher Weiner, Jr. and Jasmine Weiner, her surrogate mother, Leticia Colon Alvares of Orlando, FL, her brother, Cristian DeJesus of Shelton and her sisters, Yesinia Pizarro and her husband Manuel Rivera, Yamilette Torres- Fall and Karisma DeJesus, all of Bridgeport. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10: 00 a. m. in New Life Church, 28 Hedgehog Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 5: 00 to 8: 00 p. m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
