John “Jack” James Mul­vey, Jr., 90, de­parted this life on Oc­to­ber 10, 2018 peace­fully at his home in South­bury, CT.

Jack was born in Norwalk, CT on Novem­ber 11, 1927 to the late John and Helen Mul­vey. He grad­u­ated from the Univer­sity of Con­necti­cut School of Phar­macy as well as Fair­field Univer­sity with a master’s de­gree in ed­u­ca­tion. Jack was the for­mer phar­ma­cist and owner of Ma­her’s Phar­macy in Norwalk. He was also a con­sul­tant phar­ma­cist for many years at the Notre Dame Con­va­les­cent Home in Norwalk.

Jack is sur­vived by his beloved four daugh­ters, three grand- chil­dren, and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. He is pre­de­ceased by his sis­ters Vir­ginia Mul­vey, and Dorothea Mur­phy, and his brother Joseph Mul­vey.

A pri­vate, grave­side ser­vice was held at St. John’s Ceme­tery in Norwalk. Memo­rial con­tri­bu­tions in his name may be made to Dana- Far­ber Can­cer In­sti­tute and the Jimmy Fund P. O.
