Enjoys helping senior citizens
After taking early retirement from IBM, and having studied architecture in college, Michael Siegman had an enduring interest in homes so a career in real estate was a natural fit for him. He became a Realtor in 2002 and is now partners with his wife in the Michael and Julia Siegman Team of William Raveis Real Estate.
Siegman worked for IBM as a systems engineer and manager, owned an engineering graphics business and also worked as a manager at a small hi- tech firm.
“As real estate converted from printed books to computer based on- line systems, I had a head start technically and was able to leverage both my technical and entrepreneurial expertise,” Siegman explains. These skills complement those of his partner, Julia, who has broad real estate management skills.
“Together we make a great sales team and collaborate constantly to assist our clients.”
Siegman has found a niche in working with senior citizens. He has found that many are ready to either “right- size” their homes, move closer to family and grandchildren or set off in a new direction. His specialized Seniors Residential Real Estate Specialist training provides him with tools for those who would appreciate additional guidance in that area.
Having been condominium owners and condo board members for many years, the team also specializes in the ins- and- outs of condo living, with condominiums making up a significant proportion of their transactions. Company: The Michael and Julia Siegman Team, William Raveis Real Estate

Siegman credits his brokerage as being highly innovative and constantly implementing new ideas for selling and marketing properties. He says Raveis is very advanced in using advanced technology as well as traditional advertising to help each agent achieve the best results for their clients. The Team relies heavily on social media advertising as their chief marketing tool and supplements that with property brochures.
Both Mike and Julia are involved with a “Loaves and Fishes” church group whose mission is to feed the homeless. They are passionate about skiing, sailing, travel, and most importantly, their three sons and three grandchildren.
