BRIDGEPORT — The Purple Knights snapped a six- game losing streak with a non- league win over the Yellow Jackets.

Dennis Green scored 16 points in 21 minutes off the bench to lead Bridgeport’s offense, going 6- for- 8 from the field, including a perfect 3- for- 3 from three- point range. Travis RobinsonMorgan and Vakas Iqbal joined Green in double digit scoring for the Purple Knights ( 6- 8) with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Bridgeport shot 52.5 percent from the floor in the game ( 32- for- 61), including going 11- for- 20 ( 55.0 percent) from behind the arc.

Xion Golding and Adonis Williams scored 15 points apiece in the loss for American International ( 6- 8).
