FAIRFIELD — Katherine Haines posted her fourth double- double of the season with 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pioneers in a NEC win over the Blue Devils.

Sacred Heart ( 5- 7, 1- 0 NEC) led 31- 23 at halftime, but Central Connecticut ( 3- 8, 0- 1) used a 13- 0 run from the second quarter and into the third to take a one- point lead, 32- 31, with 7: 26 to play the third quarter. Adrianne Hagood ( 11 points) made a three- pointer with 6: 00 remaining in the quarter and the Pioneers never trailed for the rest of the game.

Erin Stork added 15 points and six rebounds for Sacred Heart, while Kiana Patterson scored 18 points to lead three players in double figure scoring for the Blue Devils.
