Expert in marketing, advertising
After more than 25 years working as a corporate marketing and advertising executive with Fortune 500 companies, Rennie Solomito went from selling products on a shelf to houses on a street.
“Both require the same discipline and marketing insights to achieve the desired results and overall success,” Solomito states.
He is now entering his 10th year in what he describes as a “fascinating industry.” He takes pride in his expertise of bringing buyers and sellers together based on the guiding principles of passion, integrity, professionalism and commitment.
Solomito said that selecting the right agent and agency can make all the difference in selling a home. With his years of marketing and sales expertise and his proactive native New Yorker mindset, he demonstrates how to get buyers to notice his clients’ homes, skillfully negotiate and close a transaction.
Solomito makes it a point to work with a limited number of clients so that he can give them the attention they truly deserve.
“I am the face behind selling or buying their home,” he said. “When my phone rings, my voice is on the other end.”
He stresses that every home is unique and needs to be marketed differently. While pricing a home correctly is important, it is only one part of his overall marketing plan.
“What tends to get lost in the overall conversation with sellers is a critical first step of how best to position their home for a quick sale,” Solomito said. “Positioning is the ability to influence buyer perception of a home relative to the perception of competing homes on the market. The objective is to establish a clear, unique and advantageous position in buyers’ minds that adds overall perceived value to the home.”
In addition to being a full time Realtor, Solomito also teaches marketing and social media courses at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. This puts him in daily contact with millennials as well as Generation Z, the next generation of consumers, thereby gaining valuable insights to their needs and desires and the impact of various social media platforms they trust and are engaged in.
