Q: What life lessons stand out most to you over the past few months?

A: The last few months have taught me more than ever how important it is to genuinely appreciate the people around you. Time away from friends, classmates, and teachers has truly underscored how dear those relationships are in my life.

Q: What’s something that people get wrong about you and your classmates based on your age?

A: If I could describe my classmates in one word it would be passionate.

Over my time at King, it has been an honor to watch my friends and classmates as they relentlessly pursued their passions, all the while taking failures and setbacks in stride. My class is brimming with brilliant, talented people; we have singers, dancers, athletes, coders and so much more.

Q: What will you miss most about your hometown and Connecticut? And what are you most looking forward to?

A: What I will miss most about my hometown is definitely being a King student and feeling the sense of community that comes with that. There is just no better feeling than playing a volleyball game in a packed gym, cheering on my friends on the field or on stage, or ringing in the new school year at ringing of the bells.

I am most looking forward to seeing all the incredible things that my classmates accomplish in college next year.
