Georgina Bracken

Georgina ( Lattanzi) Bracken, age 57, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at CT Hospice in Branford surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John M. Bracken. Born in Bridgeport on January 19, 1964 she was a daughter of Norman J. Lattanzi of Shelton and Freda ( Peterson) Howard of Stratford. A graduate of Notre Dame High School in 1981, she later became employed as a web designer for numerous corporate entities, which showcased her creative talents. Gina enjoyed arts and crafts, was musically inclined and loved singing. She loved walking on the beach, searching for seashells and enjoyed watching the sun set. Her infectious smile and outgoing personality made her the life of any party she attended. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family and friends. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband John of 29 years, other survivors include her loving sons, Christopher J. and Scott J. Bracken, of Stratford, her sisters, Robin Hoffman and her husband Wayne of Monroe and Dawn Thomas and her husband Bill of Newtown, her step brother, Gregg Howard of FL, her mother- in- law, Patricia Bracken of Stratford, her brother- in- law, Michael Bracken of Trumbull as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her sister, Janiece Johnson, her father- in- law, Jack Bracken and her step father, Bruce “Pop” Howard.

Due to the concerns affecting us all at this time surrounding social gatherings, all funeral services will be held privately for the immediate family.
