Arlindo G. Dos Santos Jr.

-

Arlindo G. Dos Santos Jr., 73 of Bridgeport peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2021.

Arlindo, aka Junior ( Jr.), a life- long resident of Bridgeport, CT served during Vietnam and was an avid sports fan who would often bring his son, Scott P Santos, and nephew to Mets games, even though he was a Yankee fan. Why Mets? “Tickets were cheap!”

Remembered for his wit and sense of humor, Junior was never shy to share a laugh. Known for eating his holiday dinners from large serving platters, he personified the essence of the world- famous Santos appetite. He enjoyed Sunday coffee with his friends and weekly visits with his mother.

Arlindo was preceded by his loving wife, Jan Santos of Bridgeport, his father, Arlindo Dos Santos of Bridgeport. He is survived by his mother, Aurora Dos Santos, his sister and her husband Aldina and Antonio Pereira, Hamden, CT and his son Scott Santos. “Uncle Jr.” will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Judith Burdelas and her husband Michael of Stoney Beach, MD, Tony Pereira and his wife Tanyce of Wallingford, CT, Christina Pereira and husband Chris Cimelus of Stratford, CT, and Andrew Pereira of Hamden, CT, along with his great- niece Jasmine Armstrong, great- nephews Joshua Armstrong, Jackson Pereira and Henry Pereira, and great- great- niece Amelia Armstrong.

Services will be private. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to The Gary Sinise Foundation, or a favorite charity, in Arlindo’s name.
