Elizabeth L. DeLorenzo

-

Elizabeth L. DeLorenzo passed away on April 15th, 2021 at the age of 90. Elizabeth, affectionately known as “Betty” was a lifelong resident of Connecticut. Elizabeth was born in Shelton, Connecticut on October 16, 1930 to the late Joseph and Margaret ( Dudik) Uzarski. She was a devoted and hard worker before retiring from Sodexo. After retiring she devoted her life and love to her late husband Frank DeLorenzo Sr. as well her family. Frank DeLorenzo Jr. and his wife Elaine of Stratford, and Dennis DeLorenzo and his wife Doreen of Milford remember her fondly as well as her four cherished grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Kristen, Larissa, Rachele, and Jason. She also has two incredible greatgrandchildren, Jacob, and Gia. In addition to her parents, and beloved husband, Elizabeth was pre- deceased by her brothers, Joseph, and Robert. Family meant everything to Elizabeth. She was a devoted and passionate matriarch who not only hosted every Sunday dinner and holiday with grace and love but also had that same passion for doing the thankless tasks of care- taking. She nursed family in need throughout her life and was undoubtedly her late husband Frank’s angel before he passed. Elizabeth was strong, passionate, caring, strongwilled, and always stood up for what she believed in. She never forgot a birthday, holiday, or life event and gave all of herself to those she called family and friends. Her life stories spanning nearly a century were a priceless gift, as well as walking away with her hallmark lipstick kiss on your cheek. She will be missed by all and she leaves the legacy of having created decades of beautiful family memories shared by so many. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 20th at 9: 15 a. m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a. m. in St. Mark’s Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4- 7 p. m.
