2, 2021. Steven Craig Pasqua of Bridgeport, Connecticu­t, beloved son of Hazel Witkowski Pasqua of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest suddenly in Westport, CT on Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was predecease­d by his father, John Frank Pasqua, Sr.

Steven was born in Bridgeport on November 20, 1959 and lived in Bridgeport most of his life. He was a very much loved son, brother, father, uncle, cousin and grandpa.

In addition to his mother, Steven leaves behind his two cherished children,

Steven W. Pasqua of Camden, Delaware and Brittany J. Lohnes of Stratford, Connecticu­t (& husband Luke).

Steven grew up in a large family and is survived by his older brother and three sisters:

Patricia Tolmie (& husband Harold) of Derby, CT.

John Pasqua Jr.( & wife Diane) of Nevada,

Pamela Franco of Hamden, CT,

Janice Tyler (& husband Gerald, who was Steven’s best friend) of Oxford, CT.

Steven is also survived by his grandson, Luke Lohnes Jr. of Stratford who called him Papa, & nieces Cindy Okech (& husband Dan) of Derby, CT, Lisa Solano (& husband Jairo) of San Diego, CA & nephew John Pasqua III of San Diego, CA.

Steven is also survived by two great nieces: Malkia Okech–, his Goddaughte­r, and Imani Okech & great nephew, Kilian Okech of Derby.

Steven was a talented guitar player who studied with jazz guitarist Linc Chamberlan­d.

He loved all types of music including jazz & rock & anything innovative.

Some of his favorite musicians were Wes Montgomery & John Coltrane.

He met Jazz musicians like Jim Hall & Ron Carter. He also loved the band The Stray Cats. In fact, in 1983 Steven & Gerry met Brian Setzer the lead guitarist/ singer, in Manhattan. Steven & Brian had a beer together.

Steve made friends easily– in fact, he never met a stranger. He was extremely comedic, constantly telling jokes.

He was an animal lover and was fond of feeding birds & squirrels & spending time with his favorite cat Casey & the family cats.

Steven was a longtime fan of the New York Yankees.

He was also a movie fan and loved cult classics like Blue Velvet. Steve loved the greats like Robert DeNiro & Jack Nicholson.

Steven was also an actor appearing under the stage name “Johnny Danger” in the 1980s.

Steven attended Madison School in Bridgeport, CT and Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, CT. He also studied at The University of Bridgeport &

In addition to being a musician, Steven worked for his father as a carpenter & later became a realtor working with the Higgins Group.

Steven also liked night fishing for bluefish & striped bass with his friend Gerry, at Bond’s dock in Stratford.

Steven grew up as a member of & confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church.

Arrangemen­ts were entrusted to Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Oh, guard my soul, deliver me now, Let me take refuge in your power.

Sadly I don’t understand why, there’s no escaping the hands of time.
