PROTESTERS GATHER TO REMEMBER JAYSON NEGRON

Jazmarie Melendez, leader and organizer for Justice for Jayson, puts up a fresh photo of her brother Jayson Negron during a protest along Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport on Saturday. Negron, of Bridgeport, was shot dead by police almost four years ago to the day, on May 10, 2017. About 50 people arrived to celebrate Negron’s life, but also protest police brutality.
