Lucrecia ( Grace) Maresca

Lucrecia ( Grace) Maresca, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late John Maresca, passed away on Thursday, June 24 2021 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport in 1927 to the late Pasquale DelVecchio and Marietta Salvagne DelVecchio, Grace met and married the love of her life John and celebrated 75 years together until his passing four short months ago in which her heart was truly broken without him. Grace was a dedicated wife. She loved being with family and cooking for everyone. Some of her favorite hobbies were painting, decorating, fashion and traveling all over. She had a generous heart and loved to give to others. Her favorite place was her cottage on the beach where she spent much time with family and friends. She will be truly missed. She is survived by her cherished nieces and nephews; niece, Lisa and her husband Robert Hammond and their two children, Robert Hammond Jr. and his wife Kristina and Noelle Hammond; nephew, Darren and his wife Anne Marie Royal and their two daughters, Brenna and Brooke. In addition to her beloved parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Edythe Royal Grebloski. The services will be held privately.
