John R. Tobin II
John Robert Tobin II, age 36, of Milford passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021 at his home. He was the loving husband of Maria Giovanna Maione Tobin. Born in Bridgeport on August 16, 1984 to John R. Tobin ( Melissa) of Bridgeport and Mary Beth Marsala Tobin of Trumbull. John graduated from Porter & Chester Technical School and worked as an HVAC service tech for V Fuel in Bridgeport. John loved anything outdoors with his biggest passion being out in the open sea boating and fishing. When he wasn’t fishing, he was perfecting his woodworking skills in building a picnic table and work bench that he was so proud of. Another passion of his was mastering the art of gardening. Each day a new plant or vegetable was being added to the home garden. In addition to his devoted wife Maria and his parents, he is survived by an aunt that he held near and dear to his heart, Kathleen ( Gregory) Jones. John is also survived by several aunts and uncles; P. Joseph Marsala, Michael ( Lisa) Tobin, Susan ( Gale) Soule and Patricia ( Romeo) Boucher. Mother and father- in- law, Carmelo and Carmelina Maione and sisters- in- law; Francesca ( Christopher) Maione- Cogdill. Diana Maione and Daniela ( Robert) Petrucelli and many cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Brian P. Tobin, maternal grandmother, Florence J. Marsala, paternal grandparents, Jack and Eunice Tobin and his aunt Eileen Bevans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 meeting directly at 11: 00 a. m. at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Shelton. Interment will be held privately at a later date. Friends may greet the family on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 4: 00 to 8: 00 p. m. at the Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.
