Crash involving Bridgeport officer totaled both cars
The two-vehicle crash was reported at 11:30 p.m. in the area of Fairfield and West avenues.
BRIDGEPORT — A police officer was involved a crash late Thursday that left their cruiser and the other vehicle totaled, according to a city official.
The two-vehicle crash was reported at 11:30 p.m. in the area of Fairfield and
West avenues.
Scott Appleby, the city’s director of emergency communications and emergency management, said both vehicles involved were totaled and both drivers were taken to the hospital to be checked out. Appleby said they had minor injuries.
The Traffic Division continues to investigate.
