Jose Rodriguez

Jose C. Rodriguez, age 68 of Orlando, FL and loving husband to Linda (Kirby) Perez-Rodriguez, passed away at home on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Jose was born and raised in the Bronx and then resided in Connecticut for many years before moving to Florida. He was employed at Space-Craft Manufacturing in New Haven, for over 25 years. He also enjoyed spending time gardening. Jose had a big faith in God and would always help anybody who needed it.

Jose was predeceased by his mother Gregoria Crespo, and his mother who raised him, Elsie Crespo. Jose is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Jose H. Rodriguez and Joshua J. Rodriguez; one daughter, Alysah Rodriguez; three step-children, Christina Gonzalez, Brian Perez, Raymond Perez, III; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. A prayer service will take place at 12:30 p.m. and inurnment in St. Michael Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum, Stratford will follow. Visitors are required to wear face masks at the funeral home.
