Remember victims

I read your article on “Youth crime a hot campaign theme.”

The story does not have one word about the victims. The cars that are being stolen may not be expensive and we can argue whether crime is up or down — but to most people your car is your lifeline to work, family and daily chores.

Rehabilita­tion is important but so are the victims. Maybe the laws should hold the parents of the teens responsibl­e for these crimes.
