-

Bogoljub “Bogo” Neskovic, age 89, beloved husband of Nancy Blasco passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in Eloy, AZ.

Born in Serbia (former Yugoslavia) July 7, 1933, he immigrated to the United States in December 1964, to begin a new adventure in his life and settled in Milford, CT. Auto mechanic by trade, Bogo started BMS Motors on Naugatuck Avenue. He had a gift of fixing cars and dealing with people. His personality was “larger than life” and people were drawn to his rugged, cowboy, patriot persona. He worked hard and played hard, there were many gatherings at the Neskovic house with fun, food and drink open to all!

Bogo sold his business in 1982 and retired out west. Although “retired” he built mini warehouses and assisted in new business startups. Bogo and Nancy married in July 1994, and settled in Eloy, AZ enjoying the quiet, peaceful, beautiful desert terrain.

Besides his loving wife Nancy of 28 years, Bogo is survived by his daughter Elisabeth (CT), daughter Katarina and son-in-law Zoran (FL), son Drago (AZ) and his first wife Christa (FL). Granddaughters Kristina and Abby, grandsons Erik (Kathryn) and Austin (Brittany), great-grandson Lorenzo and great-granddaughter Liliana. Brother Tomislav, sister-in-law Rada and sister Jerina all in CT and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers Desimir and Dragisa Neskovic. Brotherin-law Milutin Nedeljkovic. Nephew Mirko Neskovic. Son-in-law Devin Skelton and daughter-in-law Gina Neskovic.

Bogo was rough and tough and believed his way was the best (most of the time he was right). He was fair with a soft heart; he was the epitome of “pay it forward” to help others succeed. Vecnaja Pamjat (memory eternal).

There will be a 40-day Memorial Service on Saturday, February 18th, 2023, at 11:30am, at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 1 Honeyspot Road, Stratford, CT. A reception with light refreshments to follow in the church hall.
