Joseph Frank Honek
You might have called me JOE or some called me Frank, some as JOE FRANK, but when GOD called on March 1, 2023, that was a call I had to answer.
Joseph Frank Honek was born in Milford on February 6, 1958, to the late Joseph A. Honek and the late Anna B. (Grosko) Honek. He is survived by his brother, Andrew P. Honek and his wife Roberta, close cousins, Vicky Marella (Bookend), Jacqueline Honek (Princess), cousin, Bill Honeck of CA and other cousins here and in Europe, aunt, Henrietta Honek Platt of Milford and Aunts, Marge Baluch, Mary Jordhamo and Irene Marella.
Joe graduated from Saint Gabriel School in 1972 and Jonathan Law High School in 1976. He enjoyed organizing many of the class Reunions that JLHS had. Joe “Frank” was involved in the management of the family business, Connecticut Driveshaft, from its founding in 1971 to eventual sale to a national roll up, Fleetpride.
Joe enjoyed the family log home in northern New Hampshire and traveling to Saint Maarten where he spent a month every year. Joe was fortunate to be able to travel to many places and all that knew him knew he loved his frequent flyer miles. He made 4 trips to Slovakia where his mom was born and still has relatives.
