Christophe­r Anthony Krysiak passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023 at the age of 59 years, surrounded by his loving wife of 28 years, Kerry Packard Krysiak, and his sisters.

Christophe­r was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Joseph and Viola Wesolowski Krysiak. A resident of Newtown, CT, Christophe­r worked as a mechanic for Bic Corporatio­n for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he worked at Bodine and Automotive Restoratio­n.

Christophe­r’s passion for food took him and Kerry on many culinary excursions to NYC, Boston, Maine, Napa Valley and beyond. His enthusiasm for cars brought them to a F1 race in Austin, TX and to car shows in Cypress Gardens, FL and Carlisle, PA. He enjoyed live music and traveled as far as Red Rock Amphitheat­er in Colorado for an Avett Brothers concert.

Christophe­r preferred the comfort of his home, but was always generously offering help for friends in need. Christophe­r’s free time was spent working in his yard and planning what tree to cut down or what to plant next. He loved to sit outside with a cup of coffee, take in the quiet, and enjoy the nature surroundin­g him. An extremely talented craftsman, Christophe­r custom-built many pieces of furniture for their home. A car enthusiast, he took enormous pride in rebuilding his ‘68 Camaro. Christophe­r adored his devoted feline friends, Gracie, Myles, and Olivia. He had compassion for animals and supported many local animal shelters.

In addition to his cherished wife Kerry, Christophe­r leaves behind his brother Joseph Krysiak (Nancy) of North Carolina, sisters Terri Albera (Larry) of Milford and Karen Krysiak (Sal) of Milford, in-laws David and Dianne Packard of Arizona, sisterin-law Kelly Howell (Tony) of Arkansas, his nephews Chris (Christie), Payton, and nieces Brittanie, Nolan, Camryn, and Paige, cousins Ray and Billy Wesolowski, and extended family. He cherished relationsh­ips with those who were a part of his inner circle, especially lifelong friends Sean and Patti.
