Carol Ann Cline, R.N., of Beacon Falls, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 26, 2024, at Griffin Hospital.

Carol was born on May 11, 1947, in Bridgeport, CT, where she grew up on the City’s East side on Berkshire Avenue. She attended Harding High School, class of 1965. From a young age, she dreamed of being a nurse and pursued that at St. Vincent’s School of Nursing, obtaining her R.N. in 1968 and continued on in various roles of nursing for 44 years.

Moving to the Valley in 1977, she raised her family and was deeply involved at the Bungay School PTA. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and precious Nana to her grandchild­ren. She had a love of reading, watching her weekly programs and loved going out to eat with her family and friends. She was a member of St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Beacon Falls, where she found fulfillmen­t being a member of the Ladies Guild.

She was predecease­d by her parents, Samuel and Rose Papariello of Bridgeport, and her son, Matthew Cline, of Beacon Falls. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gerald Cline of Beacon Falls; daughter, Kristen Guillet of Oxford (Ryan); son, Jeremy Cline of Beacon Falls, and her three cherished grandchild­ren, Ana Rose, Kayden and Jacob Guillet of Oxford; her loving sisters, Rosemarie of Shelton, Michele Gill of Beacon Falls and Susan Grillo of

Plymouth, NH, along with several nieces and nephews.

Though her family remains deep in grief, they can take comfort in knowing that after 4 long years she is finally in the arms of her beloved son, Matthew.

A Funeral Service in Celebratio­n of Carol’s Life will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., in the chapel of the Miller Macari Family Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) in Seymour, with the Reverend Joy Jacob, SDB, Pastor of St. Michael R.C. Church Beacon Falls, officiatin­g. Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenienc­e of the family.
