Evelyn Mary Miller

Evelyn Mary Miller, age 94, of Milford, beloved wife of the late David Harold Miller, entered peaceful rest on January 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Estok) Kondas. Evelyn was known for her generosity and wonderful sense of humor. She was a member of the Jaycee wives, a beloved book club, a bridge club and a longtime member of Christ the Redeemer Parish. She was also an avid gardener, and loved to travel. But her main focus was family. She loved to host family gatherings. Evelyn lived a full, active life, right up to the end. Evelyn is survived by her devoted children, Jeryl A. Horrocks and her husband Edward of Milford, David A. Miller and his wife Kathy of Milford, Karl C. Miller and his wife Pamela of Orange, six grandchildren, Amy Fino ( Jonathan) of Milford, Tracy Sanford (Bobby) of Stratford, Emma Dwyer (Dylan) of Anchorage, Alaska, Jennifer Teidemann (David) of North Branford, David Miller (Lynn) of Marlborough, and Matthew Miller of Alexandria, Virginia, and seven great grandchildren, Lily, Lucy, Mason, Connor, Cheldon,

Mackenzie, and Evelyn, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Thomas H. Miller, her sister, Mary Schmecker, and her brother, Albert Kondash. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church, 425 Oronoque Road, Milford. Committal will be private.
