Peggy Ann Lesko (April 20, 1942 – March 13, 2024) a lifetime resident of Trumbull, CT, peacefully passed away, in the loving arms of her husband.

She was the devoted wife of Ron Lesko, Sr for 62 years. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Hoyt, Sr. and Elizabeth Velky Hoyt. Peggy graduated from Harding High School in 1962 and was employed as an Administra­tive Assistant at the Thomas Merton Center, Division of Catholic Charities for 20 years. Peggy was a long-time member of Christ the King Women’s Guild. She had a remarkable talent for design and decoration, as evidenced by her ceramic pieces that she created in her ceramic studio. She was an avid golfer who was proud of her hole-in-one at Tashua Knolls Golf Course. She also celebrated her many friendship­s that she made through playing Mahjong and bowling with the Tassels Bowling League. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping.

Peggy was a generous and loving person whose kindness knew no bounds, she never forgot a birthday, anniversar­y or special occasion. Peggy was a devout catholic who found comfort in her faith during her long illness. She is survived by her husband, Ron Lesko, Sr., her son, Ron Lesko, Jr. and his partner, Marina PelinoRizi­o, grandson, Joseph

Lesko, her daughter, Amy Manfredi and husband, Joseph, her sister, Connie Higgins and husband, John Higgins, her sister-in-law, Carole Scheib and husband, William Scheib, her brotherin-law, Vincent Lesko, Jr. and wife, Patricia, as well as many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her siblings, Frederick Hoyt, Jr. and Jean McNally.

Friends are invited to celebrate Peggy’s life at a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull, CT, on Monday March 18th, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private.
