-

Mary Carlona, devoted wife, caring mother, incredible Mimi, loving sister and wonderful friend, died on Saturday, March 23, 2024, after a short period of declining health surrounded by her loving family. Mary was the daughter of Bernard and Marie Clark (deceased) and spent most of her life in Trumbull and Bridgeport.

After graduating from Trumbull High School, she embarked on a long and successful career in banking, retiring early when Parkinson's took hold. Mary was born on May 15, 1960, and was the youngest of five brothers and sisters. Her surviving siblings are Debbie Green ( Jay), Kathleen McCarthy (Mark), and Bernard Clark ( Jeanne), and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Clark in 2019. Her many nieces and nephews loved her dearly and will miss her immensely. She was most proud of her children, Marie O'Brien, and her husband, Christopher, and her grandchildren, Carleigh and Caleb. Her grandchildren were the absolute light of her life. She adored them and doted on them as they did her. She was their beloved Mimi. Her son,

Ronnie, was her constant & cherished companion. He was always there for her and made her life comfortable and easy. As the family chef, he delighted her with wonderful meals prepared with an extra dose of love. Her husband, Ron, was her lifetime partner. Their deep love sustained them through thick and thin. He was always in her corner helping her to overcome the health problems that have plagued her for the last few years. Ron has lost his heart and soul.

All services will be held privately. To sign her online guest register, please visit www.ParenteFuneralHome. com
