July 12, 1960-June 12, 2018 Chris Anthony Timpanelli, born at St. Vincent Medical Center on July 12, 1960 passed away on June 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport with his adoring parents and sisters by his side. Chris, 57 years old from Stratford, was the son of Carmin and Pauline (Budny) Timpanelli of Juno Beach FL., and Middlebury, CT. He was a graduate of Fairfield Prep and the College of William and Mary. He received his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School in Whittier, CA., and was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Chris fought a courageous battle with progressiv­e Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years. During that time, he hosted six charitable golf tournament­s raising money and awareness for MS research. Chris was always ready to help others, never feeling sorry for himself. Governor Jody Rell proclaimed November 9, 2006 as Chris Timpanelli Day in honor of his philanthro­pic deeds. Chris was an avid golfer, playing high school and college golf and he enjoyed many rounds as a member of Mill River Country Club and PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his sisters; Julia O’Dowd and husband George of Branford, Regina Dunn and husband Mark of Stamford, Marisa Hensley and husband Philip of Orlando FL, Candice Graziano and husband Vincent of Middlebury, as well as his nieces; Natalie and Mallorie Dunn, Lauren and Olivia Hensley, Amanda and Faith Graziano, and nephews; Vincent Graziano Jr., and James Anthony O’Dowd, as well as his best friend, Dr. Frank Pinto and so many others whose lives he touched.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Services and Interment will be private at the convenienc­e of the family. Donation may be made to the National MS Society, 659 Tower Ave., First Floor, Hartford CT 06112, in memory of Chris.
