HOSPITAL OFFERS CLASS ON BREASTFEEDING BASICS

From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p. m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, Park Avenue Medical Center, 5520 Park Ave., Trumbull will host a class on breastfeeding basics for new mothers. Taught by a certified lactation consultant, this class covers the benefits of breastfeeding, establishing and maintaining milk supply, latch- on and positioning techniques, how to know if baby is getting enough breast milk, trouble- shooting, debunking myths and fitting breastfeeding into a busy lifestyle.
