POSSESSION, RISK OF INJURY CHARGES

-

Members of the State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force, gang unit and local police raided Terence Gallimore’s Willow Street home Friday night after receiving information that Gallimore, on probation on assault and drug convictions, was selling heroin.

As officers were going in the front door, police said a 9mm handgun, with a 17round magazine, came flying out a second-floor bathroom window.

Once inside the house, police said a young woman, later identified as Gallimore’s girlfriend, simply pointed up the stairs.

Police said they found the partially dressed Gallimore sitting on the toilet in the bathroom. Two cell phones were balanced on the edge of the tub and there was a plastic garbage bag on the floor in front of Gallimore.

Inside the bag police said they found a tenth of a pound of heroin laced with Fentanyl and numerous Ecstasy pills.

Police said Gallimore directed officers to a bedroom and asked them to retrieve some clothing for him. But when they grabbed a football-themed jacket from the room, hidden inside the lining were more packets of heroin and Ecstasy pills.

Police said two children found in the home, a 7month-old child and a 7year-old, were turned over to the state Department of Children and Families.

Gallimore, 28, was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, illegal possession of a largecapacity magazine, criminal possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence and risk of injury to children.

He was being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
