The man told police the group fled in a white car .

A few minutes later, a white Honda Accord was stopped by Westport police between Interstate 95 Exits 18 and 19, heading northbound in Westport. Inside the car were two women, Ramos and another man; they were uncooperative and cursing at officers, claiming to have no knowledge of any fight that happened in Stamford.

But officers found a cellphone on the front passenger-side floor that belonged to the Stamford man. Ramos had fresh blood on his hands and knuckles.
