Monthly meeting
Trumbull Interfaith Council hosts its monthly meeting at the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, 1460 Huntington Turnpike in Trumbull, on Wednesday, April 3 at 7 p.m. The meeting will finalize plans for this year’s Good Friday service on Friday, April 19, at 12 p.m. at Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road in Trumbull.
Women’s luncheon
The Women’s Fellowship of Unity Hill United Church of Christ hosts its monthly luncheon on Thursday, April 4, at 12 p.m. at the church, 364 White Plains Road in Trumbull. Bring a covered dish to share or pay $7.50 at the door. Call Carole Fanslow at 203-375-1284 for reservations.
Bingo bash
The Christ Episcopal Church, 56 South Cliff St. in Ansonia, hosts the spring basket bingo bash on the following Fridays: April 5, June 14 and June 28. Doors open at 6 p.m., the bash starts at 7 p.m. Ten games of bingo will cost $20, with an additional set at time of admission for $10. There will be trivia games, door prizes and a raffle. Dog wash
Trumbull High School’s Agriscience and Biotechnology Center hosts a dog wash on Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The students are sponsoring the event, which will cost $10 per dog. The center is located at 536 Daniels Farm Road in Trumbull. Call 203-452-4200 for more information.
Social engagement
George’s Hill, a social engagement group for people with an illness affecting memory and cognition and their caregivers, meets on Thursday, April 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road in Trumbull. A light lunch will be served from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. The group meets on the second Thursday of every month during the same hours. Wheelchair accessible. Badge day
Connecticut Audubon Society Center at 2325 Burr St. in Fairfield hosts a morning hike on Saturday, April 6, to fulfill requirements for one, or more, of the different badge options offered. YA Wednesdays

Hungarian food
The church workers of the United Church of Christ of Bridgeport are marking Hungarian kolbasz for sale. They will be available by order only in regular or hot. Price is $7 per pound. Animal care
Connecticut Audubon Society Center at 2325 Burr St. in Fairfield hosts an after-school Junior Animal Care Keepers class for students in grades 6 and 7. The class starts April 2 and runs for six weeks. Students will meet from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, working with the staff to care for the center’s resident animals while learning about their habitats, health and dietary needs. Scholarship open
The Great Hill United Methodist Church in Seymour opens applications for the McKane Scholarship of $1,000. Graduating high school students from Seymour or Oxford are eligible. Deadline is May 3. Yearly dinner
Seymour Fish & Game’s annual dinner takes place on Friday, April 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Grand Oak Villa in Oakville. Tickets are $45 each. There will be raffles and prizes. Beer workshop
Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place in Westport, hosts a three-part series on the historic craft of brewing beer. Starting March 30, attendees will learn the basis of brewing with Full Moon Brewing brewer TJ Elgin. The first session is on March 30 and includes a tasting session. The second session is on June 8 and the final one is on Nov. 9. Each session runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is required for the entire series. Chef party

Mohegan trip
Holy Rosary Parish at 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia hosts a trip to Mohegan Sun Casino on Monday, March 18. Tickets are $30 per person, which includes a $30 give-back for gambling and dining.
