Write in Moore

-

By the simple step of filling in a small circle at the bottom of the ballot Tuesday, you can change the sad story of Bridgeport. Before you vote for Line A Democrats on the ballot, ask yourself why does the city government in Bridgeport have so little money? Why does our downtown have so many empty storefronts? Why did our Board of Education have to cut $50 million from its budget depriving 20,000 students of basics and extras that surrounding school students have?

Big reason: We have the wrong leadership. Period. We get no respect from the rest of the state or big corporations who have gone to Norwalk or Stamford or New Haven recently.

We need a new mayor who has unquestioned integrity who will fight for a better quality of life for everyone. We need someone recognized by us and by our elected officials in Washington and Hartford as a not needing a “second chance.” Let’s give our Marilyn Moore, born and raised here in Bridgeport, a “first chance!”

She actually lives in Bridgeport. Those controlling our city now “sort of ” live here, but often sleep in the suburbs.

Former telephone company executive state Sen. Marilyn Moore already represents half of our city from Black Rock to the North End. When you enter the voting booth on Election Day vote for this same woman for mayor. On Tuesday pick up that special pen and fill in the circle down at the very bottom of the ballot and write in “Moore” so she can represent all of Bridgeport.
