Reem Abdel-Hack, Shelton: Abdel-Hack had 10 kills and 14 blocks as the Gaels knocked off previously-unbeaten Guilford 3-1 on Friday.

Kaitlyn Boland, Warde: The Mustangs’ senior collected 10 assists, 6 kills, and 6 digs to help the Mustangs top Darien 3-0.

Aerin Bowman, Darien: The sophomore middle had a match-best 25 kills, along with an ace, a block, and 3 digs as the Blue Wave blanked St. Joseph 3-0.

Leah Chipman, Bristol Eastern: Chipman, the Lancers’ junior setter, racked up 47 assists in a 3-2 win over RHAM in a battle of unbeaten teams last Wednesday.

Ana Castro-Rodriguez, Masuk: The Panthers’ setter had 29 assists, 5 aces and 3 kills to help lead Masuk to a 3-2 win over New Milford on Thursday.

Jess Foss, Shelton: The Gaels’ senior cocaptain and setter had 34 assists, 12 digs and 5 aces during a 3-1 victory over Jonathan Law on Monday.

Jessica Hanrath, Coventry: The junior collected 27 assists, 11 digs, 6 aces and 5 kills during a 3-0 shutout of Canton.

Ryan Hicks, Danbury: The Hatters’ setter dished out 43 assists in a 3-1 victory over Stamford. She also added 2 aces, 2 kills and 6 digs.

Zoe Lowe, Bristol Eastern: Lowe had a game-high 21 kills to go along with 3 aces and 3 blocks in the Lancers’ five-set win over previously-undefeated RHAM.

Becca Meyer, SMSA: The senior collected 27 assists, 15 digs, and 6 kills as SMSA rolled past Granby Memorial 3-0.

Emily Morey, Jonathan Law: Morey drilled Foran with 10 aces to lead Law to a 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Lilly Saleeby, Greenwich: The junior captain racked up 29 kills and 26 digs as the Cardinals downed Trumbull, 3-2, on Friday.

Adele Sotgiu, Greenwich: Sotgiu had a game-high 28 digs during the Cardinals’ fiveset win over Trumbull.

Bria Stanley, West Haven: Stanley had 17 kills, 7 digs and 3 blocks in West Haven’s 3-1 win over North Haven on Friday.

Jane Van Arsedale, Staples: The Wreckers’ senior amassed 27 kills during a 3-1 victory over St. Joseph.

MATCHES TO WATCH

Staples at Joel Barlow, 4:30 p.m., Thursday: An FCIAC-SWC match-up between two playoff-bound teams. Barlow is the No. 1 seed in the SWC, and Staples has clinched an FCIAC bid.

New Canaan at Westhill, 5:30 p.m., Thursday: The Rams and Vikings meet for the second time in nine days. Westhill won the first match 3-1, bot both teams are headed to the FCIAC tournament, the Vikings possibly as the top seed.

Greenwich at Ludlowe, 6 p.m., Friday: Two of the FCIAC’s top contenders meet on the final day of the regular season. This could be a conference semifinal preview.

Newtown at East Lyme, 6 p.m., Friday: East Lyme is gearing up for the playoffs with a tough final week against non-conference foes. The Vikings topped Guilford 3-2 on Tuesday, and face Newtown to close it out.
