BRIDGEPORT — “Brothers Osborne” are bringing their “We’re Not For Everyone” Tour to Bridgeport’s Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on Aug. 20.

It’s the first show announced at the amphitheater since delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic forced previously announced shows to be moved to other locations. The amphitheater, being constructed on the site of the former Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, was slated to open in 2020 before supply chain problems delayed construction.

“Brothers Osborne” is a Grammy-nominated, country-singing duo from Nashville, Tennessee, made up of John Osborne and TJ Osborne.

In February, TJ Osborne announced that he was gay during an interview with Time, making him the first openly gay man signed to a major country label. In recognition of the support he received from fans, he plans to release a new song titled “Younger Me” on April 16, according to the duo’s website.

During the upcoming tour, attendees can expect to hear the band’s six Grammy-nominated singles, including “Stay A Little Longer,” “It Ain’t My Fault,” and “21 Summer,” as well as Top 40 hits “Shoot Me Straight,” “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)” and “All Night,” according to the “Brothers Osborne” website.

Travis Denning and Tenille Townes are expected to join the tour as alternating opening acts, according to the band’s website.

Tickets go on sale to the general public April 23 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.

The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater is aiming to be able to host full capacity events by the summer.
