Griffin’s vaccine center welcomes kids age 12 and up

SHELTON — Griffin Health has added young people 12 and older to those able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Christian Meagher, Griffin Health communicat­ions specialist, said the organizati­on will be administer­ing the Pfizer vaccine to anyone ages 12 and older at its Shelton Vaccinatio­n Center at 10 Progress Drive and at its Naugatuck Vaccinatio­n Center at 727 Rubber Ave.

Walk-ins are welcome, Meagher said, and youth must be accompanie­d by a parent or guardian.

The Shelton Vaccinatio­n Center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. To 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. To noon.

The Naugatuck Vaccinatio­n Center is open Monday through Friday from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.
