Pearl (Pipitsa) Stevens, 88, loving wife of the late Thomas Stevens, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Pipitsa was a longtime resident of Fairfield and a former employee of Accurate Electronic­s in Bridgeport. She was born in Megalopoli­s, Arcadia, Greece to the late John and Sophia Karambatso­s.

Pipitsa was a loving mother, Yiayia (grandmothe­r), aunt, sister, and friend. Her passion and integrity to those she loved was unwavering. Her stoic smile and laugh (“come on”) will live on forever.

Pipitsa was a culinary master in her Greek cuisine and sometimes changed up ingredient­s (“her creations” as she would say), we will miss her amazing holiday dinners.

Pipitsa was predecease­d by her son, Peter Stevens. She is survived by her son, John, his wife Ann Stevens; her granddaugh­ter, Patricia; her grandsons, Thomas and Peter; all of Fairfield. She is also survived by her sister, Evangalia of Toronto; dear beloved sisters-in-law, several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

The Rite of Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday,

April 27, 2022 at 10am, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Ave. in Bridgeport, with Fr. Georgios Livaditis, Presbyter, officiatin­g; followed by interment in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9 am until time of service in the church. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport was entrusted with the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Church Iconograph­y Project in memory of Pipitsa.
