Michael D. Masullo, 28, formerly of Enfield, CT, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 20, 2022 near his home in Dover, NH as the result of injuries from a fall. Michael was born on November 20, 1993 in Atlanta, GA.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Lauren Yanouzas Masullo; parents, Linda and Richard Suleski; siblings, Sean, Ryan, Stacey, Karen and Michael Suleski, cousins who were more like siblings to him, Madeline and Hannah Anselmo; grandmothe­r, Diana Williams, grandmothe­r, Nancy Masullo, and grandmothe­r, Teresa Suleski; his second family, Tracy and Niko Yanouzas, Nicole Yanouzas and Ever Martinez; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Al T. Masullo, Jr., grandfathe­r, Robert Williams, grandfathe­r, Al T. Masullo, Sr., grandfathe­r, Dominic Suleski, and special uncle, Russell Anselmo.

Following graduation from Enrico Fermi High School in Enfield, Michael went on to study at UCONN where he met Lauren. From there he transferre­d to the University of North Dakota where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in aviation and accomplish­ed his dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot.

Flying was Michael’s true passion, and it led him and Lauren to travel all over the world. He achieved his goal of becoming a captain for SkyWest Airlines and more recently began his career with JetBlue Airlines, where he was hired to fly internatio­nally from Boston to London.

Michael’s adventurou­s spirit kept him constantly active. He loved hiking, skiing, boating, and scuba diving. He could also be found enjoying a long bicycle ride, on a good run, or playing his guitar. His favorite thing in the world was just being around those he loved.

Michael was a loving husband, son, brother, grandson, and a friend to all who knew him. He lived his life to the fullest and he will never be forgotten.

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield, followed by a celebratio­n of life from 5:30 pm to 9:30 p.m. at the New England Air Museum, 36 Perimeter Rd., Windsor Locks.
