Elliott Rudnick, 83, of Huntington, Connecticu­t, passed away on September 25th in Bridgeport Hospital. Elliott was born in Queens, New York to William and Celia Rudnick. He went to Newtown High School in the Elmhurst section of Queens before attending the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. Elliott worked in Sales for both Revlon and Faberge before continued successes as a Manufactur­er’s Sales Representa­tive for several cosmetics and health and beauty aid manufactur­ers. After starting his family and moving to Trumbull, Connecticu­t in 1968, he became active in his community and involved with his young family’s activities. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, Judy, his children, grandchild­ren, and good friends. Fishing and tending to his tomato and house plants brought him great happiness as well. Elliott was also involved with Congregati­on B’nai Torah in Trumbull. Over many years as a member, he served on its ritual committee, especially enjoying his responsibi­lities as head usher during the High Holidays as it gave him the opportunit­y to socialize with many of the temple’s congregant­s.

Elliott is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 60 years, Judy, of Huntington, Connecticu­t; daughters, Cheryl Tsechrintz­is, Elaina Wheaton; son, Rob Rudnick; grandchild­ren, Riley Tsechrintz­is, Emily Tsechrintz­is, William Wheaton, Celia Wheaton, Shawn Wheaton, and Max Rudnick; son-in-law, Derek Tsechrintz­is; daughter-inlaw, Happy Rudnick; and his loving brother-in-law, Dr. Eric Lazar and his spouse, Susan Lazar. Elliott was predecease­d by his beloved sister, Harriett Garber; and their parents, William and Celia Rudnick.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at B’nai Torah Cemetery in Fairfield, CT.
