William Serrano

William Serrano, 69, of Fairfield, Connecticut, peacefully passed in the comfort of his home and in the presence of his family on January 26, 2023.

William was born on June 8, 1953 to Ana R. Quiñones and William A. Serrano in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

William is survived by his loving wife Awilda of 40 years, sons William Jose (Maria), William Javier (Erica), William Gabriel, daughters Malliam (Walter), Melissa, Nydia (Colton), mother Ana “Rosy”, grandchildren Valeria, Diego, Alana, Isabella, Gemma, Liam, Emilia; a host of nieces and nephews and extended family. William was a loving and caring son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to many. William was predeceased by his father William, sister Awilda, and brother Hector.

William enjoyed sports, especially baseball. He was an avid and loyal fan of the New York Mets.

He was a committed and dependable Senior Operations Associate for MBI, Inc. for many years. William adored spending time with his family. He loved gardening, playing dominoes, watching sci-fi movies, and was a home-improvement project enthusiast. True to his selfless nature, you would often find him helping family and friends with their home projects. William was a reliable friend, amongst so many other titles. His willingness to help others is one of many reasons he is so loved.
