Robert Allen Simpson
Robert Allen Simpson passed away peacefully at his Shelton home on April 13, 2024, surrounded by his adoring family. He was 77. Bob was born in Milford, to the late Arthur (Bud) and Margaret Mac Isaac Simpson, but was a longtime resident of Shelton. Bob attended Jonnathan Law High School in Milford and the University of Hawaii. He also served in the US Air Force. Bob spent his life in IT, first as an owner of a consulting firm and then as an employee of Lockheed Martin (Sikorsky). Bob was very active in his church and dedicated many years of service to various positions within the church. Full of fun, wit and a great sense of humor, his passions were golf, golf and more golf, the UConn Huskies, and sailing. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marcella Busko Simpson and beloved son, Collin J. Simpson and beloved daughter-in-law, Shannon MacFadden of Shelton. He is survived by his sister Wendy Schreiter of Elko, Nevada and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Arthur (Skip) Simpson III, sisters Holly Barney, Jayne Ciccotelli and best friends Chris Cowles and
Rick Wiedl. A wake will be held Thursday, April 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and 4 Gorham Place, Trumbull. A church viewing will be held on Friday, April 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., immediately followed by the funeral service at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, 26 Bonnie View Drive, Trumbull.
