Timothy Kenyhercz April 14, 2024

Timothy Kenyhercz, age 68, of Allentown, PA, and previously of Stratford and Derby, beloved husband of the late Jo-Ann (Zinn) Kenyhercz, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024. Mr. Kenyhercz was born September 22, 1955, in Bridgeport, son of the late Alexander and Sarah (Szakal) Kenyhercz and had been a lifelong area resident until his recent move to Pennsylvania. Tim was the co-owner of Donut Corner until 2001. He finished his career and retired from Stop & Shop in 2020. He was a graduate of Bunnell High School (Class of 1973), where he was proud to wear the Number 3 on the gridiron. Tim was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, friend and, most of all, cherished being a Papa to his three grandchildren. Survivors include his children, Shannon Rivera and her husband George of Pennsylvania, Adam Kenyhercz of Ansonia, Joseph Kenyhercz and his wife Vanessa of Bridgeport, and Alex Kenyhercz and his wife Ashley of Seymour; three cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Mason, and Eva; siblings, Robin, his twin Alan and his wife Suzanne and Mark and his wife Mary, and nieces and nephews, Melissa, Julianne, Bobby, Katie, Danny, Sean,

Chelsea and Kerry. Timothy was also predeceased by his nephew, Christopher Kenyhercz. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford, CT. Friends may visit with his family before Mass time from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the William R.
