HGTV Knocks at the Door!

As the cherry on top of Carolyn’s finished project, her home redo caught the eye of TV producers and will be featured on a new home-improvement series launching on HGTV Canada—which Carolyn will be co-hosting!

“During our porch addition, I posted pictures of us working on the house using ‘farmhouse’ and ‘smalltownstyle’ hashtags,” Carolyn says. “A Los Angeles-based production company started following our project on Instagram and asked if they could meet with us. My brother had been part of the major renovations, so I asked him to sit in with me during our interview. The show’s rep loved our story and sibling banter, and then we met with their Canadian team. We filmed a ‘Sizzle’ (a condensed version of the show), which was then presented to HGTV Canada. In March, HGTV invited us to sign on for 10 one-hour episodes of our own show called Farmhouse Facelift. We are the network’s first new hosts in four years, so we’re grateful and excited for the opportunity. HGTV Canada has scheduled the premiere for Spring 2020.”
