White Done Right

Becca restored the dark kitchen using crisp whites, natural hues and dabs of blue. White cabinets and drawers, open-shelving accented by a wood range hood above the cooktop, white and blue accents, and a wooden kitchen island paired with matching stools pull the look together. “Nothing is safe from my paintbrush, (our kitchen island is no exception),” jokes Becca. “This started as a ‘builder basic’ island. To give it a fresh look, I painted it Chateau Grey by anniesloan.com, then added farmhouse legs, fauxbrick paneling and topped it off with a large butcher block countertop.”
