As 2020 makes an exit,

many of us may

want to give it a swift kick in the behind, right?

However, despite its many challenges, the year did bring some sparkling bright spots, including the birth of a beautiful baby girl to our beloved Editor and Brand Leader, Jickie Torres! Nothing adds more joy, hope and happiness than a fresh bundle from heaven, and we are delighted for Jickie and her husband, Mark. We hope this holiday issue brings you a big dose of joy, too!

We’ve included six festively jaw-dropping homes tours, from traditional red-and-white flair in a Michigan home (page 76) to suave class in a New Mexico cottage (page 60) and pastel hues in a Florida residence (page 92). Even with social distancing practices, creating a cozy event for a few close family and friends is fun to do with inspiration from a plaid-loving California couple (page 110). And why not add a few yummy treats to your baking repertoire with Christmas-worthy recipes (page 122)? Don’t miss the dozens of shopping ideas, be it for your home or for loved ones, and check out advent calendars for counting down to the big day (page 14 ).

Our Project House in Carlton Landing, Oklahoma, will be fully revealed in our next issue, but for now, enjoy the gorgeous dining room in all its comfortable elegance (page 118).

We’ve made it through this most unusual year, so here’s to celebrating our most cherished traditions!
