“We had a really fun craft station set up in Anne’s quaint backyard, and friends Brenda and Amy stopped by to join in on the fun,” Claudia says. “Little evergreen trees from Trader Joe’s were planted in clay pots with moss covering the soil and then embellished with velvet ribbon, an ornament and a glittery gift tag. They make the perfect party favors for holiday guests.”
CRAFTING PARTY. “Embellishing the pine gift pots is fun to do; you can get really creative,” Anne says. “It was a sunny winter’s day, so we set up in the backyard.” Claudia styled the table with things she brought from home. “We used an upscale piece of burlap with red thread running through it for the tablecloth,” Claudia says. “I brought in lots of clay pots, ribbon, string, tags, moss, vintage buckets, plaid throws, ornaments and the little Christmas trees.”
|TOP LEFT| DUTCH TREAT. “Everyone seems to paint their doors wild colors these days, but black is classic and I feel it blends well with the hand-hewn wood siding,” Anne says. Claudia added red pillows and red flowers to complement Anne’s red boots. A bucket of eucalyptus is ready for display as indoor holiday décor.
