For blending multiple colors in a design, Melissa recommends taking a step back and getting a big picture view of the whole space. “Think about the overall experience that you wish to create in a space, and have a goal in mind,” she says. Once you determine the style you want, create your own mood board that inspires you. “Your vision board should embody a juxtaposition of all the ideas that tell your story,” she says. Once you’ve come up with your plan, it is time to put your design into action. “Go forth and go big,” she says.
